This neighborhood sometimes gets overlooked since its a little removed from the main approaches to downtown, but as you get to know it you realize why people love it. The weather is great and it’s a pretty quick drive to the freeway. The homes that are on the southwest side of the hill have great views and all day sun yet can be a bit windy in the summer months. At the top of the ridge is access to open space and many residents jog or walk their dogs here. Homes are generally a mix of 1960s and 1970s mixed in with some custom homes. Mt. Tamalpais School, a K-8 nonsectarian private school is located here in a beautiful knolltop setting.
