Sausalito Art Festival -Labor Day Weekend

Sausalito Art FestivalThe Sausalito Art Festival kicks off Friday at 6pm with a gala and then continues through Labor Day. The festival is located along the shore of Sausalito at Marinship Park and the Bay Model Visitor Center.

The art festival offers a great opportunity to see works of art in several mediums and it also allows you to meet the artists one-on-one. In addition to the contemporary art, festival goers will be able to enjoy live entertainment on three stages (Main Stage, Artist Stage and Children Stage) and gourmet food & wine.

Get an early start if you go! The festival starts at 9am Saturday – Monday. In years past, leading to Sausalito gets bad later in the day. This year is expected to be no exception with added traffic being diverted to the Golden Gate Bridge due to the closing of the Bay Bridge.

Avoid the traffic and take the ferry! The Larkspur ferry is running several trips each day over the Labor Day weekend. You can also take the ferry from San Francisco. All ferry arrivals into Sausalito will have a free shuttle ride to the Sausalito Art Festival.
